The Iliff School of Theology, bordering the University of Denver campus in Denver, Colorado has a long and storied history and is considered one of the preeminent liberal seminaries in the United States. Unitarian Universalists have been a consistent presense within Iliff for decades and are a continuing force in shaping the schools identity as an institution dedicated to justice and peace activism and GLBT equality and recognition. Iliff has generated scores of Unitarian Universalist clergy and leaders over the years and has become seminal in the growth of Unitarian Universalim in the Rocky Mountains and beyond.

UU seminarians at Iliff have determined that it is long past due that we have official representation and recognition, so 2006 has been deemed the inaugural year of the IUUSA or Iliff Unitarian Universalist Student Association. In brief, the IUUSA is dedicated to identifying and growing the UU presense at Iliff and encorporating an organizational structure that helps to accomodate current and future students. The IUUSA is also dedicated to making Iliff a premier institutuion for the development of leadership and growth in Unitarian Universalism. We believe in the limitless opportunties for Unitarian Universalism to become the obvious alternative for seekers of liberal religious choice. There will be much more to come.............
